Giles and Julia Fisher produce Pacific oysters and mussels at Freycinet Marine Farm. They also sell scallops, abalone, rock lobsters (crayfish), salmon, pickled octopus, sea urchin roe and prawns, prepared in a variety of ways.
Their oysters have a delicate briny sea flavour and are plump, rich and creamy. To buy some of the freshest shell fish imaginable, call in here.
You’ll find a deck with picnic tables and umbrellas where you can enjoy your seafood with a cool drink or a glass of local wine. Alternatively, bring oysters or rock lobsters back to Sheoaks to eat on our deck as the sun sets - a truly East Coast holiday treat, especially if you’ve bought a bottle of east coast wine to go with it. We can provide bread and a salad if you’d like, and that’s dinner sorted.
